I’ve had some lovely emails asking for calligraphy workshop dates for the spring and summer. I’m really looking forward to new projects for these classes – as always, everything will be suitable for absolute beginners. I’m hoping we’ll be writing with beautiful metallic inks this time, and using our calligraphy nibs to learn beautiful letters and draw a few leaves and flowers too!
Sunday the 8th of March at Quirky Workshops
There will be two sessions – morning (10am until 12:30) and afternoon (1:30 until 4pm)

Saturday the 25th of April at Rheged
Unless we sell out, this is a morning only calligraphy workshop from 10am until 1pm. The price is £55 per person, and you can book the Rheged calligraphy class here
Friday the 5th of June at Beetham Nurseries
Another morning calligraphy class, starting at 10am and finishing at 12:30, just in time for a lovely lunch in Beetham’s café (highly recommended!) The price for this workshop is £50 per person – tap here to book!
Friday the 10th of July at The Kirkgate Centre
A new workshop venue I’m really excited about – my folks live in Cockermouth and I grew up in West Cumbria, so I’m very happy to be able to support this one! I have a few private calligraphy workshops booked in for 2026 as well, which is even more exciting! Calligraphy is a really therapeutic, mindful way to spend a couple of hours.
