The loveliest email landed in my inbox, after Françoise’s mum’s 80th birthday party last week!
With just a week to create something really special, Françoise commissioned me to write several calligraphy pieces for her event. Using emerald green G.F. Smith paper and Winsor & Newton gold gouache, I wrote calligraphy place names for all the guests. Françoise asked me to write a poem and a few words on a card for her mother, and they were an absolute dream to create.

It’s times like these I really realise I’m not here to just write calligraphy. I’m here to create moments of joy. I’m lucky to have such lovely customers who put their trust in me, and Françoise has been one of the sweetest – a real pleasure to work for.
